Pack 566 Pack Meetings
What is a Pack Meeting?
A Pack meeting is when all the members of the Pack meet together.
At least one parent attends with the Cub Scout, but often Covid permitting its a family affair. We are staying outside whenever possible.
The meetings run an hour or so with some special events lasting longer.
What is the format of our 60 minute-ish Pack Meeting?
Den performed skits (short plays), songs, jokes, etc. (public speaking)
Recognition of Cub Scout Advancement (skills or activities completed)

When and Where are Pack Meetings Held?
During the schoolyear typically on the 2nd Thursday of the month between 7 and 8 pm.
In the Fall/Spring we meet outdoors at Kevin Moran Park in Saratoga (far left end next to tennis court).
In the Winter we meet indoors at Menlo Church* next to Saratoga High School.
*Pack 566 has no religious affliation with Menlo Church.
What are some examples of the Main Activity of a Pack Meetings?
Cub Scout Carnival - events created by the Dens and Pack Committee.
Bike Rodeo - Bike inspections, adjustments, riding events, and prizes.
Pinewood Derby - Cub built model car race.
Blue & Gold Dinner - Annual awards potluck dinner and show.
Neckerchief Ceremonies - Presentation of rank neckerchief & slide at start of the Scouting year.
